About The Role
Salisbury Group has an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our Projects Team. This is a home-based role, but covering nationwide. 
 
As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for supporting all projects undertaken by Salisbury Group. Project works are predominately M&E focused for existing clients, but Salisbury Group also has a significant footprint in Port Authorities where sustainable energy solutions are delivered.
 
The Project Engineer will report to the Project Co-Ordinator and will assure that Salisbury Group is compliant to all appropriate regulations and processes.
About You

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Concept design/feasibility planning through all stages of design and construction to commissioning and ultimately handover stage
  • Electrical Design calculations
  • AutoCAD drawings
  • Value engineering experience
  • Specification writing and design compliance with client specifications
  • Site Visits and client liaison
  • Attend Client / Design team meetings
  • Develop and recommend improvements to project work processes
  • Coordinating information flow between the design team and site based personnel
  • Supporting all elements of project delivery within the team
  • Report writing
  • Design and specification of renewable technologies
  • Part L Compliance checking
To be considered for this role, you will have:
  • Industry specific degree (preferred)
  • Membership of CIBSE, or equivalent professional body (preferred)
  • Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD
  • Ability to carry out electrical design calculations
  • The ability to provide technically sound design solutions
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation, including CDM Regulations
  • Commercially focused with experience of contract conditions
  • Exposure multiple project operations
  • Experience of working with minimal supervision and supporting other team members
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience with BREEAM, Revit MEP, NES specification writing
